The Pan-African Climate Justice Alliance is accepting entries for the 2024 African Climate Change and Environment Reporting (ACCER) Awards.

Deadline: Aug 6, 2024.

The ACCER Awards is a biennial initiative that recognises excellence in climate change and environmental journalism in Africa.

The competition is open exclusively to African journalists whose work focuses on the situation in Africa. In 2024, cash awards will be given in six categories.

The ACCER Awards is an initiative of the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA), a consortium of more than 1,000 organisations from 51 African countries advancing a people-centred, rights-based, just and inclusive approach to addressing the climate and environmental challenges facing humanity and the planet.
