DEADLINE: Barcelona International Photography Festival on Human Rights and Global Justice

We are opening the call for entries for the 4th edition of the BCN-DH photography competition, the Barcelona International Photography Festival on Human Rights and Global Justice.

The Catalan Association for Peace (ACP), International Action Peace and Mas Retina are calling for this initiative aimed at seeking, recognising and promoting the best photographic projects on human rights and Global Justice.

Using photography as a tool for social justice, the competition aims to offer a look at global problems and the causes that give rise to them. Our goal is to generate spaces for reflection and information that stimulate critical citizenship, with the ability to intervene in today's debates.

The ten projects selected by the jury will be exhibited from 10 December, International Human Rights Day, to 10 January 2025 in the streets of Barcelona, Spain, and will be part of the catalogue for the 2024 edition. The best of the ten projects will receive a prize of 3,000 euros.

The deadline for project registration is October 31, 2024 at 00:00.
