One-Day Law School for Journalists

Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts' One-Day Law School for Journalists is an intensive online program designed to support journalists and others in the media who face the challenge of reporting on the court system without a law degree. The program is offered at no charge. As a nonprofit organization, we depend on donations and sponsorships in order to hold our programs. • Judicial Conduct & Misconduct
• Protecting Journalists: First Amendment & Shield Law (with Professor Jane Kirtley | University of Minnesota)
• Refresher on Right to Know Law, Freedom of Information Act, and Open Records (with Melissa Melewsky | Media Law Counsel | Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association; and Paula Knudsen Burke | Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press)
