"EPA Releases Data on Local Toxics"

"The Environmental Protection Agency is making public data on the release and transfer of nearly 650 chemicals at 21,000 locations across the country during last year.

EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson said Wednesday in a statement that it was vital that communities have access to the information that affects health and the environment."
