NOAA Releases Annual Fisheries Report

If you're casting around for current fisheries information, a recently-released annual report from NOAA may fit the bill.

"Fisheries of the United States 2007" was released July 17, 2008. It contains reams of data on commercial and recreational fishing, as well as fish consumption quantities and dollars spent. In many cases, the data apply to specific ports and locations, making it easy to localize. There also is considerable data on international fisheries.
