Enviros Want To See Fired New Brunswick Scientist's Glyphosate Report

July 6, 2016

The Council of Canadians, an environmental group, is calling for release of a report on the herbicide glyphosate that New Brunswick's chief medical officer was working on when she was dismissed.

The demand comes from the Kent County branch of the Council. Ann Pohl, chair of the chapter, wrote Dr. Jennifer Russell: "It is not clear to us if your report has been scrapped, suppressed, or something else has happened."

Russell replaced Dr. Eilish Cleary, who started the report and was replaced six months ago.
